Social Media Etiquette

Everyone has a voice and the digital landscape has opened up the opportunity for people to be heard! Whether good or bad, people post blogs and/or respond to blogs, post information and/or pictures, frequently at times without considering the consequences.

In today’s society if you want to build rapport, it is important to understand if the information and/or comments being posted will cross the line. If yes, then be armed with the media backlash that may come with voicing a controversial topic online. Why? Responses to media news and/or stories can generate faster than a company can intercede and put their spin on the information revealed. Keep in mind there is far less time to undue the damage and far more mediums in today’s digital landscape to jump in front of the scrutiny.

With that, take into consideration Social Media Etiquette and try to curb the criticism!
